Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - $1,390 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract position in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in SNF settings.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Experience working in SNFs preferred.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in OT assessment tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

• Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
