About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Salinas, California.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to promote independence and quality of life
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

  • Current California Occupational Therapy license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in SNF settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

Pay

Pay package is based on 7 hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

We are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this contract/travel role. Contract/travel assignments are typically 13 weeks, with potential to extend.
