About the Role

Responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to patients in the PICU setting. Must be proficient in various respiratory treatments and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation
• Assist with intubations and extubations
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning procedures
• Monitor and document patient progress using Cerner charting system
• Provide emergency response and troubleshooting for ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements

• One year of experience in adult critical care
• Current RRT certification
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, CRT, and RRT certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
