About the Role

This is a 13-week travel assignment with night shifts (18:30 - 07:00), scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week. The position starts on 09/07/2026, with one opening available. Charting will be done using Epic.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Adult Critical Care
• Aerosol setup (mask and trach)
• Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Xopenex administration
• Assistance in high-risk deliveries
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Bronchoscopy assistance
• Extubation and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) administration
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) and Medihaler administration
• Nasal airway placement and suctioning
• Oral airway placement and suctioning
• Pulmonary hygiene
• Sputum specimen collection
• T-piece, trach collar, and tracheostomy care/management

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, RRT

This position is at an acute care, Level 1 trauma hospital with 721 beds.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $1,912 to $2,105, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
