Job Summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Allentown, PA. This position offers competitive pay and a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory treatments and monitor patient conditions
• Set up and manage aerosol equipment
• Administer medications and provide emergency care
• Interpret and document patient data using Epic charting system
• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures
• Manage ventilator settings and assist with weaning patients from mechanical ventilation
• Provide chest physiotherapy and suctioning as needed
• Handle various medical devices and equipment
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Current RRT certification
• Knowledge of adult critical care and pediatric care
• Ability to perform high-pressure alarms troubleshooting
