Travel RRT - $2,008 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Cleveland, Ohio, starting 11/16/2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
• Collaborate with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Ability to easily lift 20 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience (posting also notes 2 years in requirements section)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas
• NBRC certification
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
