About the Role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution – offers premium compensation and maximum flexibility for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs). This role involves filling short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities available. RNs in this program may float throughout a hospital, multiple hospital locations, or regions.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations/regions as needed.
• Apply standard elements of professional practice: assess, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Act independently within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience in your practice area.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Base pay rate: $40.67/hour (not including applicable differentials and travel stipend). Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rate. The pay range may vary based on location.
