Travel RN, Registered Nurse, ED
About the Role

FirstChoice travel Health Care Professionals fill critical positions due to unforeseen circumstances, extended leave, or unplanned staffing needs. You’ll experience a variety of practice settings while traveling within your local region or nationally.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
- Incorporate and demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: assess, outcomes identification/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Act independently and appropriately within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
- Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
- Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
- Required credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay
Base pay rate: $40.67 per hour (not including applicable differentials and travel stipend). Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rate. The pay range may vary based on location.
For the specific assignment at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (night shift)
- Gross Weekly Rate: $2,844.00
