About the role
Apart from providing care in the Medical/Surgical department, this position requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes
- Document patient progress and interactions accurately
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- NICU Stroke Scale (NIHSS) knowledge
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in Medical/Surgical settings preferred
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
