13-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM. Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
  • Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with level of practice.
  • Administers medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
  • Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
  • Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or care givers; identifies issues and resources.

Requirements

  • BLS certification from AHA required.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact license.
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Must be able to work 2–4 weekend shifts per month (rotated between staff).
  • May be asked to float to all Med/Surg departments under Maya Sandoval as needed.
  • Nurse/patient ratio: 1:5–6.
  • EMR Used: EPIC.
  • Dress Code: Grey scrubs.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 13-week assignment.
  • Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM.
  • Weekend requirement: 2–4 shifts per month (rotated between staff).
  • On-call not required but may be asked if census rises.
