About the role
NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes.
- Perform EKGs and interpret results.
- Manage drips and titrates as needed.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- 36 months of experience in Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele.
- Post op surgical care experience in EGD, colonoscopy, Cardiac Cath, Pacemaker, minor surgery.
- Experience with heparin, insulin, diuretic infusions, amiodarone, diltiazem, 3% saline infusion.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting EKGs, including Tele related duties.
- EPIC EMR experience.
Qualifications
- No first-time travelers.
- Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 12 months.
Skills
- Med Surg and Telemetry experience.
- Post op surgical care skills.
- Knowledge of various drips and titrates.
- EKG interpretation and Tele related duties.
- EPIC EMR proficiency.
Benefits
Tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights.
