Travel RN Med Surg Stroke - $2,085 per week
About the role
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our 5N Medical-Surgical Stroke Unit. This unit provides care for patients with various conditions, including strokes, COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and surgical overflow. Experience with NIHSS and EPIC charting system is highly preferred. The daily census can range from 26 to 28 patients, with a maximum capacity of 35 beds.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to stroke and medical-surgical patients.
- Utilize NIHSS for stroke assessments.
- Cook interdisciplinary teams.
- Document care and patient progress using the EPIC system.
- Manage medications and assist in treatments as prescribed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Experience in acute care settings, preferably in a MedSurg or Stroke unit.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
