Pay

Pay range: $2,079.88 – $2,183.87 (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12‑hour shifts: 07:00‑19:30 or 19:00‑07:30 with a ½‑hour lunch break.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge in Med‑Surg, infection control, isolation precautions
• Experience with infectious disease cases (COVID, MRSA, C‑Diff)
• Familiarity with Heparin and other typical Med‑Surg IV medications, antibiotics, etc.
• One day EPIC orientation, one day on the floor with a preceptor, third day independent
• May be called off for low census; floating to other Med‑Surg units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on Infectious Disease and Isolation units, including COVID, MRSA, and C‑Diff cases
• Administer and monitor titratable IV medications such as Heparin and antibiotics
• Collaborate with charge nurses and other team members to ensure quality patient care
• Follow infection control protocols and isolation procedures
• Complete clinical documentation accurately, including EMR updates
