Travel RN Med Surg - $2,910 per week

Travel Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Maine. Specialty: Med Surg. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: travel assignment with MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency.

Schedule

48 hours per week, consisting of 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients receiving pharmaceutical treatments for illness management.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and the treatment team.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
