About the role
Provide advanced nursing care in a Labor & Delivery unit, utilizing direct patient care skills within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Care includes Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU, guided by AWHONN and AACN standards, certifications like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, top-of-scope care following established standards
- Prioritize patient safety and wellness
- Precept and support new staff
- Participate in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
- Ensure quality at the point of care
Qualifications
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1+ year experience
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- BLS certification
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
- Proficiency in clinical standards
- Collaborative approach to patient care
