About the Role

Specializes in women's care and infants within Labor and Delivery, providing direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to standards such as AWHONN and AACN guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practices
• Precept new healthcare staff
• Ensure safety and quality at the point of care
• Deliver top-of-scope patient care
• Model proficiency through precepting
• Contribute to a safe and high-quality care environment
• Support innovative clinical practices in women's health

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
• At least 1 year of experience in nursing
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Experience in units such as Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, or NICU (preferred)
