Travel RN House Supervisor / Transfer Center Coordinator - $2,851 per week

Job Details

Role includes approximately 12 hours per week as House Supervisor and 24 hours per week as Transfer Center Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct nursing unit activities in absence of Nurse Managers and Administration
• Serve as communication point between referring facilities, physicians, nursing leadership, bed management, and ancillary departments
• Ensure compliance and maintain quality assurance records

Requirements

• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence-based practices
• Complete GRH Skills Checklist within 12 months
• Complete GRH CPI/MOAB (required for all RN House Supervisors)
• Primary source verification of professional license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration (for RNs use BON & NURSYS)
• Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted, due by December 1 annually
• Covid-19 vaccine or declination accepted
• MMR: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted
• Fit test completed prior to start with acceptable masks
• Hepatitis B: 2 vaccines or positive titer; if low or equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted
• TB test: proof of negative test within past year or documentation if history of positive test
• Health statement from physician within last 12 months
• Current driver's license or state ID, valid throughout assignment
• Background check within 30 days of start including SS trace and county search for last 7 years
• GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement
• Educational verification through 3rd party or combined with diploma/transcripts
• EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• SING check within 30 days of start
• Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor
• Digital drug screen within 30 days of start (9 panel, THC not required)
• Evergreen Link completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Pre-orientation CBL acknowledgement form uploaded

Schedule Information

• House Supervisor shift: 18:30 - 07:00
• Transfer Center Coordinator shift: 19:00 - 07:30
• Total approximately 36 hours per week

Unit Specific Information

• House Supervisor role includes nursing unit coordination and supervision in absence of Nurse Managers and Administration
• Transfer Center Coordinator role involves coordination of patient transfers within healthcare system
