Travel RN First Assist - $4,016 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a First Assist in a 298‑bed teaching hospital. The position offers a 40‑hour guarantee with 10‑hour day shifts and requires weekend and holiday coverage as needed. The facility provides state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic imaging and a collaborative perioperative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an RN
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Certification as a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred
• Own vehicle for transportation; travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Unit size: 8 beds; facility‑provided scrubs; 8‑hour non‑billable orientation
• Maximum of 5 days requested time off during the assignment (fewer preferred)

• Hours: 40 hours per week (40‑hour guarantee)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
