Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse in a Level IV trauma Emergency Department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. The nurse will utilize evidence-based practices, prioritize patient wellness, and model proficiency through precepting new staff. Responsibilities include delivering top-of-scope care, ensuring safety and quality, and contributing to positive clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide emergency care up to and including trauma level 1 standardsCollaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomesModel proficiency and support new healthcare staffContribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care Qualifications & Skills Colorado RN license or eNLC privilegesMinimum 1-year nursing experienceCertifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to evidence-based practice Additional Information: The role offers a night shift schedule, competitive pay, and travel/stipend benefits.
