Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining the operating room for cardiovascular procedures
• Assembling equipment, supplies, and medications necessary for surgery
• Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Positioning patients safely and adhering to sterile procedures
• Monitoring and supporting patients during surgeries, including handling emergencies
• Providing post-surgical care and ensuring proper documentation
• Following safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Minimum one year recent experience as a CVOR RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain focus
