About the role
This on-site Registered Nurse position is in a fast-paced, acute dialysis unit, providing direct patient care with a focus on specialty acute care and dialysis treatments. The RN utilizes the nursing process, prioritizes patient safety, and collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves assessing patients throughout dialysis procedures, managing equipment and supplies, and precepting new staff or students in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care using evidence-based practices
- Assess patients and manage dialysis treatments effectively
- Ensure safety and quality in patient care
- Contribute to team efforts and support new staff through precepting
- Stay current with specialty certifications and clinical standards
Requirements
- Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
