Travel RN - Acute Dialysis

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, acute dialysis unit, utilizing high-level nursing skills to assess and manage patients undergoing dialysis and in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessments and manage dialysis equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Model proficiency through precepting and contribute to safety and quality standards.
• Provide specialty acute care, including moderate to high acuity Med-Surg units, and oversee dialysis treatments with a focus on patient assessments and equipment management.
• Emphasize evidence-based practice, wellness, and safety in a dynamic clinical environment.

Requirements

• Valid CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
• Minimum of 1-year nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
