Travel RN - Acute Cardiology - Weekend Days

About the role

This position involves providing comprehensive, high-level patient care in an acute cardiology setting, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality, including precepting new staff and supporting a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in moderate to high acuity units, such as Med-Surg units within acute care.
• Apply specialty certifications and core curriculum standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Model proficiency, mentor new staff, and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or eNLC privileges in Colorado.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Active BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross prior to start.
