About the role
Provides respiratory therapy services in acute care and emergency settings, including patient assessments, pulmonary treatments, and education.
Responsibilities
- Manages a patient load of approximately 20–25 patients per round within an 80:1 ratio, documenting activities accurately using Epic EMR.
- Delivers treatments, performs assessments, and ensures quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- RRT certification
- Active Virginia license
- BLS certification from AHA
Preferred skills
- Experience in acute care and emergency departments
- Familiarity in Step-Down and Medical-Surgical units
