Travel Respiratory Therapy Technician

About the role

Provide specialized respiratory care, including ventilatory treatments, patient transport, and procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube management. Perform assessments, monitor equipment, and maintain accurate documentation. Assist with advanced interventions like tracheostomy care and arterial blood gas analysis. Demonstrate proficiency in invasive and non-invasive ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and EKG acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and evaluate patient needs
• Perform diagnostic tests and assist with advanced respiratory procedures
• Operate and monitor ventilatory equipment
• Maintain detailed patient records and therapy documentation
• Respond to emergent situations with CPR and ACLS protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ventilatory equipment, arterial punctures, and blood gas interpretation
• Competency in intubation techniques, invasive procedures, and equipment operation
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
