Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a medical center in Palmer, AK, with experience across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an acute care medical center in Palmer, AK
Treats adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
Patient ratio of 1:1
Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Floating to other units is required
No on-call requirement
13-week contract
EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

  • CRT or RRT credential accepted
  • Minimum 2–5 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Licenses required if applicable

Requirements
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
Perform respiratory therapy procedures on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Black scrubs required
RTO is limited to a maximum of 2 weeks for the duration of the contract, with no RTO permitted on July 4th
RTO requests must be less than 1 week per request
Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
