Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
Perform blood gas analyses and initiate/management of ventilation support including BiPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula.
Respond to codes and participate in in-house transport of patients.
Administer medications and perform chest physiotherapy as needed.
Provide care for tracheostomy management and assist with intubation and extubation as required.
Utilize various respiratory care equipment including Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
1.5+ years of respiratory therapy experience, preferably in PICU/NICU settings.
Current New Jersey License or Compact License required.
BLS and NBRC certifications are required.
Advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP) can be obtained onsite.
