About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report significant changes to supervising physicians.
- Document patient care activities and results accurately.
Requirements
- Certifications: RRT and CRT (Certifications must be valid and up-to-date).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT required but will accept CRT as long as they held their license prior to July 1st 2022.
- Pediatric floor care and adult experience preferred.
- Experience with ventilators and NICU care (will consider candidates with older NICU experience and no pediatric experience).
- EMR: EPIC.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in at least one state.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy.
- Valid driver's license and address must be outside 50 miles from the facility.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
