Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)- NIGHTS

About the role

Join a dedicated respiratory care team in a fast-paced hospital environment where your expertise will directly impact patients requiring critical and acute respiratory care. This 13-week night-shift assignment is ideal for an experienced CRT or RRT with strong ICU, ER, and general respiratory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' respiratory status and developing appropriate respiratory care interventions
• Providing respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Managing and monitoring patients requiring respiratory support
• Working with ICU and Emergency Department patient populations
• Performing general respiratory care procedures
• Monitoring patient responses to treatments and making appropriate clinical recommendations
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Responding to respiratory emergencies and providing timely interventions
• Maintaining accurate documentation of respiratory assessments and treatments
• Promoting patient safety and high-quality respiratory care

Requirements

• License/Certification: CRT or RRT accepted
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required
• 3–5+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Recent ICU experience
• Recent Emergency Department (ER/ED) experience
• Strong general respiratory care experience
• Ability to independently manage a variety of acute and critical respiratory conditions
