About the Role

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) responsible for delivering respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust treatment plans under physician guidance
• Assess patients and perform diagnostic tests
• Administer respiratory treatments and monitor equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies
• Record patient progress and ensure proper equipment functioning
• Provide respiratory interventions and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with the healthcare team
• Demonstrate technical, physical, and sensory abilities to perform duties effectively

Requirements

• Minimum one year recent CRT experience
• NBRC CRT credential and valid respiratory therapy license
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and effective communication
