About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Winchester, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy services under the direction of a physician.
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
  • Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Epic Experience.
  • No on-call weekends required.
  • No floating shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and software.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, nights (6:45pm-7:15pm), every other weekend off.
