Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Emergency Department & Special Care Nursery - $2,110 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at an adult Level III Trauma hospital serving the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult Level III Trauma hospital with 120 staffed beds
• Serves patients in the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery
• Charting is done in Epic
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every 3rd weekend is required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required
• Block scheduling is at manager's discretion

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• State license required if applicable
• Prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must be able to shave facial hair to achieve a proper N95 mask seal for fit testing — no exceptions

Qualifications

• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• No cost for employee parking
• RTO should be requested upfront whenever possible
• Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotations

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
