Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,814 per week

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026 in Tacoma, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients
• Use various equipment including Oscillator, Bunnell Jet, Draeger, NOx Box INO, ABG (GEM), Bubble CPAP, HHFNC, and EPIC
• Work 12-hour shifts, nights
• Schedule includes every other weekend rotation, additional hours may be available

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Level III or IV NICU
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) - Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Washington State license (must be in hand or have proof of application within 6+ weeks)

Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Knowledge of patient types such as prematurity, RDS, chronic lung disease, and surgical patients
