About the role
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, WI.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Respiratory Therapy Services department of a 99-bed Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, WI.
- Patient population spans neonate to geriatric with respiratory conditions.
- 1:1 patient ratio.
- Performs procedures including intubations (assist), mechanical ventilation, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABG collection.
- BiPAP equipment: V60s and V30s; Ventilators: Puritan Bennett 840; Transport vents: Hamilton and Enve.
- Charting system: Epic (experience required).
- 12-hour night shifts, 1800–0630, 36 hours per week.
- Every third weekend rotation (open to every weekend if preferred).
- Holiday rotation required.
- Minimal on-call requirements.
- Floating throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- CRT or RRT credential required.
- Active state license required, if applicable.
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
- Minimum 12 months of core experience in respiratory therapy, with most recent experience within the last year.
- Epic EMR experience required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
Skills
- Respiratory Therapy Certification (CRT or RRT).
- Proven experience in respiratory care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
