About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Ottumwa, Iowa. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide age‑, culture‑, condition‑appropriate education.
- Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Appropriate certifications as required for the specific Respiratory Therapist position.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited school.
- Demonstrate adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Pay
Pay range: $52.50 – $54.60 per hour.
