About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Wytheville, Virginia. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour night shifts at Wythe County Community Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position
- Degree from an accredited school
- Demonstrate adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies
- Ability to communicate clearly (read, write, speak, understand English)
- Minimum of one (1) year specialty experience (Respiratory Therapist)
- Allied 6 months of experience

Pay
Pay range: $52.50 – $54.60 per hour.
