Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,069 per week

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates, and will operate in various settings including inpatient, ER, and rehabilitation. The position involves 12‑hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including floor duties, breathing treatments, and management of respiratory equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and capillary sticks for I‑Stat testing.
• Assist with intubations as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• Valid RRT or CRT credential; RRT preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 3‑4 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; first‑time travelers welcome.
• WV CARES certification required prior to start.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
