About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide quality patient care during a COVID-19 crisis assignment. As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12 nights)
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks (temporary)

Pay

Competitive travel package; pay depends on location and experience. Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• At least 2 years of experience
• Current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Phenomenal efficiency, attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety
• Compassionate and sensitive approach to patient care
