Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,918 per week

About the role

Travel Respiratory Therapist (Intensive Care, Day Shift) in Richmond, Virginia. 13-week contract starting ASAP. Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physician-prescribed respiratory therapies using various ventilatory and aerosol devices.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods, including oropharyngeal and tracheal.
• Monitor oximetry and capnography, and interpret chest x-rays.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and emergency interventions related to respiratory care.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and perform routine maintenance on respiratory equipment.
• Document and communicate patient treatment details and responses effectively.

Requirements

• Valid respiratory therapy license and demonstrated competency in respiratory care procedures.
• Current Respiratory Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
