Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,899 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Rochelle Park, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Train patients and their families on proper respiratory techniques and equipment usage.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
