Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,834 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Clarksville, Tennessee. The position starts 11/09/2026, runs 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. Job ID #1517226.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (posting also notes 2 years in requirements list).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC credential (RRT).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start.
• Physical demands: ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop; lift 20 lb routinely, up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
