About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency, is seeking a quality Respiratory Therapist for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients.
Requirements
- Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC and current CPR certification required.
- Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Maintain and promote good customer relations; communicate professionally with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, families, and other caretakers.
- Provide instruction to patients and caretakers in the methods and objectives of therapy.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12‑hour day shifts
- 13‑week contract
Pay
Weekly pay with direct deposit; pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours/week with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined (recruiter will confirm details).
