Travel Respiratory Care Practitioner - $2,434 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques.
• Provide emergency respiratory care to patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, or other life-threatening situations.
• Educate patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment, medications, and techniques for managing respiratory conditions at home.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with new techniques, equipment, and best practices in respiratory therapy.

Requirements

• A valid license to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Illinois.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience in respiratory therapy.

Pay
