About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a travel job in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical laboratory testing services under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist.
- Operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment.
- Prepare specimens for testing and perform tests according to established procedures.
- Document results accurately and report findings to supervising medical technologists.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Medical Technologist from a recognized accrediting body.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory techniques.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 5x8 and 4x10 schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited medical technology program.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN or equivalent.
Skills
