Travel Respiratory Care Practitioner - $2,426 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Care Practitioner for a 13-week assignment starting September 28, 2026, in Urbana, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the direction of a physician.
• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop and implement treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and suctioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
