About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a hospital setting with a focus on rehabilitation services.
- Work in a 36-bed unit with a team of 10-13 staff members, including nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters.
- Manage patient ratios of 5/6-1 and utilize equipment such as Hoyer/sit to stand lifts.
- Utilize an EMR system, Meditech.
- Administer IV medications, peg tube feedings, and heparin drips.
- Perform wound care procedures.
Requirements
- One year recent medical/surgical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS certification preferred or considered a plus.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN).
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current RN license in good standing.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
