About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care in a hospital setting focusing on rehabilitation services.
  • Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
  • Work in a unit with 36 beds, 10-13 staff members, including 1 charge, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters.
  • Manage patient ratios of 5/6-1 and utilize equipment such as Hoyer/sit to stand lift.
  • Utilize EMR system Meditech.
  • Perform tasks such as IV meds, peg tube feedings, heparin drips, and wound care.

Requirements

  • One year recent medical/surgical experience in a hospital setting.
  • BLS certification preferred or considered a plus.
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN).
  • Experience in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • Passing scores on all required tests.
