Travel Rehabilitation Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,165 per week

About the role

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Onaga, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and remain professional during times of stress and change.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in a physical therapy setting preferred.
• Valid licensure and/or certifications for the state of work.
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adapt to a new environment.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA).
• Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay and Schedule

The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
