Travel Rehab RN - $2,362 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Rehabilitation position at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on day shifts (12‑hour shifts, 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.). Employment type is travel, start date ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide general rehabilitation nursing duties in collaboration with therapy.
• Float to other units as needed, including Swing, MedSurg, and Stepdown units.
• Participate in call; call frequency varies with census.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:5 in a 10‑bed unit.
• Use MedHost EMR for documentation.
• Adhere to facility scrub color policy (any color permitted).

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of recent RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active RN license (required for travel nursing).

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour day shifts, 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Hours per week: 36 hours.
• Floating and call required; call frequency varies with census.
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated.
