Travel Rehab RN - $1,953 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs for patients based on evaluations at admission.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative nursing services, including wound management, bowel and bladder management, and cardiac teaching.
• Support patients in achieving increased independence with activities of daily living, mobility, and home evaluation.
• Teach patients and families about rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Manage tracheostomy or other respiratory conditions, nutrition, pain management, and orthopedic disorders.
• Provide holistic nursing care, addressing the emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maine.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing practices and protocols.

Schedule

This position offers 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
